Perypezye Urbane Goes Europe
Perypezye Urbane Goes Europe was an Erasmus+ mobility project coordinated by Perypezye Urbane to expand the professional skills of its teaching and support staff — in adult education, management, languages and institutional communication — with a particular focus on new media and digital cultures.
At a glance
Over two years the project supported 13 staff members across 27 mobility periods, combining job shadowing, training courses, language courses and participation in European conferences. The experiences strengthened the team’s competences in teaching with new media, video and visual storytelling, in European project design and financial management, and in building lasting international partnerships — notably with Mediagrammi e.V. in Berlin.
The mobilities had a concrete legacy. The know-how acquired fed directly into new training programmes and multimedia productions, and into Perypezye Urbane’s later European work, including the development of the DanceMe platform at the end of 2016. More broadly, the project marked a turning point after which the organisation came to see itself not as a Milan-based but as a European one.
